The UK government is to launch a 12-month pilot scheme that will involve some illegal migrants seeking asylum in the country being electronically tagged to keep track of their movements, it emerged on Saturday.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson defended the plans as he said it was essential that people who arrived through dangerous routes on small boats and hidden in lorries could not simply “vanish”.

MY TAKE :

In Africa, some 50 million people are literally " starving " without food ( since no jobs ).

As of now, only a few thousands are " invading " Europe by crossing the Mediterranean Sea, in dinghies . All of them are " Illegal migrants " in the eyes of the EU laws.

Some " right-thinking " citizen of EU are recognizing them as " Economic Migrant "

All over the world this trend ( of Economic Migration ) is picking up because " Economic Inequity " ( Rich-Poor Gap in standards of living ), is growing rapidly.

The way politicians of the RICH countries are refusing to realize / accept this stark reality, this inequity will continue to widen

And those thousands crossing the sea will turn into a tsunami of MILLIONS !

E-tags will not stop them from flooding EU
