30 Nov 2019 Among many reforms that the Government needs to implement in order to revive our sagging economy, finding ways to lower our manpower costs ( as a percentage of total manufacturing cost ), is a top priority This reform is neither easy nor can be done in a jiffy And, most certainly , it will not be a populist . If anything, like a bitter pill , it will be resented by many But a sick person must take the bitter pill - so must a sick economy In the following blog, I have conceptualized that bitter pill I hope our Cabinet Ministers muster the courage to tell the citizens : " It is a question of produce or perish .
