Make world-class footpaths, Uddhav tells civic officers Chief minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday asked the BMC to create world-class footpaths to encourage Mumbaikars to walk. The issue came up during a ‘rare meeting’ at Sahyadri Guest House where the CM discussed work with ward officials and encouraged them to expedite works. During the meeting, officials of the 24 wards made a presentation of select roads, footpaths and gardens. This could be said about finding a solution to a host of problems facing us It is no different when it comes to protecting our children from the bad influence of online pornographic web sites Recent " blockage " of some 827 such sites by the Government , is a welcome step So is the step ( by Shri Naidu - Speaker, Rajya Sabha ) to appoint a committee , headed by Shri Jairam Ramesh , to look into this and suggest ways and means to solving this problem Even as hundreds of PROXY SITES, render this blockage , ineffective ! As a result, the average ticket size of UPI transactions has more than halved from Rs 3,902 in FY17 to Rs 1,751 in FY20 till date. While the ticket size is getting smaller the frequency of use is increasing. This is reflected in monthly transactions, which were over 120 crore and worth Rs 1.89 lakh crore in November 2019 ================ This is good news .
