14 Nov 2019 For past 2 years, I have been urging EESL ( by sending 16 emails ) : > To cancel current order of 10,000 Electric Cars , placed 3 years ago on TATA and M&M > Float a new tender for supply of these cars on WET LEASE basis ( and not on outright purchase basis ) This logic seems to have some effect , now that EESL has decided to cancel that order ( foreclose with supply of 3000 cars by March 2020 ) That was certainly, an HONEST decision I hope, this will be followed up with an even more HONEST decision of " Wet Leasing " all future supplies , as per Central Government policy announced by late Shri Arun Jaitleyji in : Thank You , Shri Jaitleyji, https://lnkd.in/fwNYQuz
