Companies around the world are trying to face competition by cutting costs - primarily rapidly rising " Manpower Costs "

They are installing robots to replace men on the shop floor - and software in the offices to cut down on office staff

Indian industries cannot buck this trend for long .

Like businessmen everywhere, Indian businessmen too are saying :

I can replace a man with a robot that would cost me 5 years wages of that person. After that, my only cost is electric power consumed by the robot ( + some maintenance cost )
