Debris on call’ service: BMC wants private land for recycling

10 aug 2019 Debris on call’ service: BMC wants private land for recycling As part of its latest tender, the BMC has added a clause that allows any Mumbaiite to set up a plant if they have a large open space. https://lnkd.in/fkB2Vgi ================================== Good idea but which private land owner will invest hundreds of crore of rupees, if there are no buyers ( mostly, builders ) for their " re-cycled debris "- even if the BMC guarantees to buy back 20 % of processed construction waste ( at what price ) ? Dear Shri Ashok Khaireji ( Dy Muni Comm in charge of SWM ), First task is to create a " market " for recycled debris Will builders use recycled debris if it can bring down their construction cost by 70 % ( which, it can ) ? The road to creation of such a market , is explained in : DREAM HOUSE BY 2020 ? [ 01 sept 2015 ] https://lnkd.in/fSyqmWp ==================== A Roof Over Every Head ? https://lnkd.in/fXjkW8J
