29 june 2019 Centre to roll out One Nation One Ration Card Read more at: https://lnkd.in/ffhbu4g ============================== Glad for this long overdue simplification ( - without doubt, Govt will claim it as a REFORM ! ) I hope, this will inspire similar simplifications in other Personal Identification papers / cards , where each State insists on issuing its very own Earlier, Passport was one common document for all citizens Recently , it is AADHAR Some cities are planning to introduce a common TRAVEL TICKET ( for use in bus - train etc ) For Ayushman Bharat ( Modicare ), there has to be one single CARD which citizens can use for getting medical service ( from Doctors - Nursing Homes - Hospitals - Pathology Labs - Diagnostic centres - Primary Health care centres etc ), without need for any other supporting piece of paper Why should not a VOTER CARD , enable a citizen to vote from wherever he / she happens to be ?
