Cost of 11.8 km Mumbai - Pune Hyperloop project is estimated at $ 10 billion ( Rs 71,420 crore ) -------------------------------------- I do agree that we need to take some out-of-the-box / bold decisions , provided persons proposing can prove : > Funds are available locally - and at NEAR ZERO interest rate . We must not borrow commercially from abroad > Project is financially viable and will pay back in 10 years > Among many projects, competing for the same funds, this project deserves highest priority since it offers greatest benefit to the users > Project can be completed in 10 years ( penalty clause must for construction contractor ) > Contract must not provide for any COST ESCALATION clause , which may TRIPLE the cost when completed Dear Shri Gadkariji, For the sake of transparency , pl clarify
