07 july 2019 Parking illegally near a public lot in Mumbai? Pay fines from ₹10,000 The new rate card has been put up across the city near PPLs by the civic body. There are presently 28 functional PPLs in Mumbai https://lnkd.in/fhqTt6G ================================= No parking zones within 500 meters radius of each ------------------------------------------------------- Even assuming that traffic police succeeds in cordoning off the designated 500 meter , expect endless disputes between police and the car drivers ! Also expect unbridled CORRUPTION ! What next ? BMC asking car-owners to sell off their cars ( of course, outside Mumbai ) or park inside their flats ? Why don’t they park in their flats ?
